Production Assistant

Seasonal position: August through the end of December 2026

This is a hands-on role that does require physical labour, with a variety of responsibilities in production operations. It is a seasonal position running to the end of December 2026, covering our busiest stretch of the year.

What You'll Do

- Assist the production team with frame assembly and finishing work
- Prepare materials for production, including cutting, sorting, and staging components
- Support inventory counts and help keep tracking accurate and current
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas across the shop and warehouse
- Move materials and finished goods throughout the space, regularly handling items up to 50lbs
- Jump in wherever the day calls for it, since no two are quite the same

Qualifications

- Detail oriented




- Strong initiative, interest in acquiring and developing new skills, working with hands
- Proactive communicator
- Comfortable working in a loud environment with air compressors and staple guns (PPE provided)
- Able to maneuver oversized or heavy objects, 50lbs+
- High attention to detail and organization
- Able to be on your feet, lifting and moving, for the length of a shift
- Comfortable following established processes while flagging ways to improve them
- Available for the full seasonal term, September through the end of December 2026

Assets (Not Required, But Valued)

- Visually creative hobbies (drawing, painting, sewing, sculpture, digital art, etc.)
- Experience with power tools or general handy work, whether from a job, a workshop, or your own projects
- Background in woodworking, carpentry, fabrication, or similar trades

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
