Arctic Spas Manitoba – Winnipeg / Oak Bluff

Arctic Spas Manitoba is looking for a friendly, reliable and organized person to join our Winnipeg-area retail team.

This is a front-counter and retail position with a mix of customer service, inventory management and general store responsibilities. We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, takes pride in keeping things organized and is willing to learn about our products and industry.

Previous hot tub or pool experience is not required. We can teach product knowledge — we're looking for the right person and attitude.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, qualified service
- Assist customers at the front counter and throughout the showroom
- Process purchases accurately through our POS system
- Answer phones and assist with general customer inquiries
- Learn our hot tub, pool, water-care and accessory products
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure commonly sold products remain properly stocked
- Restock shelves and organize merchandise
- Assist with receiving and putting away inventory
- Keep the showroom, front counter and customer areas clean, tidy and presentable
- Ensure products are properly displayed and priced
- Communicate inventory needs to the appropriate team members
- Help with other day-to-day store responsibilities as required

What We're Looking For The right person doesn't necessarily need years of retail experience. Reliability, attitude and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.

- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English with customers and coworkers
- Be friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers
- Be organized and pay attention to inventory levels
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be told every time something needs to be done
- Take pride in keeping the store clean, organized and presentable
- Be comfortable learning new products and systems
- Work well with the rest of our team
- Be comfortable using computers and learning our POS system

Retail, customer service, inventory or POS experience would be considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Compensation

Wage will be based on experience, ability and the level of responsibility the successful applicant is capable of taking on.
