Become a key player in early childhood education at Clayton Brown Public School as a Designated Early Childhood Educator. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration and play-based learning for kindergarten students. The position requires a registered educator in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. You'll work closely with classroom teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the Full-Day Early Learning-Kindergarten Program.
Your responsibilities include observing student progress and maintaining a supportive learning setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to plan developmentally appropriate activities
- Facilitate play-based learning to demonstrate student engagement
- Document student learning using various assessment techniques
- Promote a healthy emotional and social learning climate
- Perform additional duties related to the Early Learning Curriculum Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Knowledge of the Full-Day Early Learning-Kindergarten Program
- Experience in behavior management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
