Engage seniors at Extendicare as a full time Resident Programs Aide. Foster social connections through recreational activities and support residents’ independence and quality of life. In this essential role, you will help plan and execute various recreational and social programs for residents.

You'll provide 1:1 and group interactions based on individual needs and interests. Collaborating closely with the Programs Manager and team, you will set up, clean up, and ensure everything is ready for engaging activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate and encourage participation in recreational programs
- Assist residents safely during activities and outings
- Document resident participation and track program outcomes
- Support special events, celebrations, and other initiatives
- Follow health, safety, and organizational protocols Requirements:
- Previous experience in social programming or care settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
