As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Licensed Plumber to join our team. This position provides the opportunity to expand into a management role for the right individual.
This position is ideal for a highly skilled licensed plumber who can work independently, troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.
The Role
As an experienced Licensed Plumber, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing a variety of residential, commercial and service plumbing work.
You will be expected to represent Tiger Plumbing professionally in the field, communicate effectively with customers and the office, and help maintain a high standard of workmanship across our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- Complete residential and commercial service calls
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs and replacements
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and plumbing codes
- Identify plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Provide accurate information for estimates and additional work
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, contractors and commercial customers
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentices and less experienced plumbers
- Ensure work complies with applicable Ontario plumbing codes and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate job status with the office
- Maintain company tools, equipment and service vehicle
- Help identify opportunities to improve field operations and customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 306A Plumber Certificate of Qualification
- Gas license considered a very valuable asset
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience preferred
- Strong service and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems and Ontario plumbing requirements
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Robust communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to lead and mentor apprentices when required
- Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Professional, dependable and accountable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42.00-$48.00 per hour
