Matcor-Matsu Group is a fully-integrated supplier of manufacturing and engineering services providing modular assemblies and complex stampings for body-in-white, drivetrain, interior and seating applications for the automotive industry.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the general accounting function including HST reporting and returns, preparing journal entries, maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closing and account analysis and supporting the controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare and process journal entries as well as complete general ledger operations.

· Conduct accounts and bank reconciliations, assist with monthly financial closings.

· Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.

· Perform inter-company account reconciliations.

· Prepare a comprehensive analysis of accounts to support decision-making.

· Calculate and prepare monthly computations and returns for HST.

· Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow forecast.

· Perform online banking transactions and monitor banking issues including fee anomalies and cheque differences and cheques deposit.

· Oversee the reconciliation of tooling, engineering, and prototype revenue, ensuring accurate recording.

· Manage AR functions, including posting transactions, reconciling customer accounts, investigating payment discrepancies,



and following up on overdue accounts.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

· Comply with requirements as outlined in the company handbook and the OHSA.

· Practice good housekeeping.

· Other duties that may be assigned.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

College or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Transparency:

Salary Range: ($60,000 to $80,000)
