Prerequisites:

· Education: Grade 12 high school diploma

· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

· Safety Gear: Mandatory use of CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots and personal protective equipment.

· Communication: Valuable verbal and written English skills, must be able to follow written work instructions and safety signs.

· Transportation: A valid G driver’s licence

· Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with manufacturing and/or factory work background however the position shall not be limited to this. Internal training would be required and provided as needed.

The position of General Laborer must be able and willing to perform the following:

· Material Handling: Move raw metal stock, parts, and finished goods using pallet jacks, hoists, or forklifts.

· Organize stockroom: Verify incoming material shipments, organize and store material by grade and size

· Shop Upkeep: Sweep floors, empty chip and trash bins, clean coolant spills, and dispose of scrap safely.

· Machine Support: Load and unload parts onto CNC or manual machines, deburr and clean finished parts

· Machine maintenance: Organize tools,



perform basic preventive maintenance, keep work areas clean and hazard-free

· Fluid maintenance: Help top off machine coolants and lubricants under the direction of lead hand

· Tool proficiency: Comfort using basic hand tools, power tools, measuring tapes, micrometer, and verniers

· Production work: Continuously load parts, perform basic hand-assembly tasks, pack, box, label, and securely stack finished goods, monitor stock and orders

· Shipping: Apply accurate shipping labels, barcodes, and packing slips to outgoing crates, boxes, or pallet

· Unload deliveries: Safely unload incoming freight, raw materials, and shop supplies

· Shift Work: Open to working designated shift structures (Days, Afternoons, Nights, or rotating shifts). Shift premiums apply The aforementioned tasks are guidelines for the position of General Laborer however the scope of the position will not be limited to the above.

Remuneration: As per contract.

Pay: From $20.13 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
