Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves supporting various projects, including residential and commercial painting and carpentry.The ideal candidate will possess solid communication skills, a good work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in construction, blueprint reading, or using hand and power tools is preferred but not required.

Duties

- Assist with construction, restoration, and painting projects across residential and commercial sites
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively​
- Perform tasks such as caulking, carpentry, and surface preparation for painting projects
- Support the setup and breakdown of scaffolding or rigging equipment as needed
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or applying primer




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project status or issues

Requirements

- Must have a driver's license and vehicle
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction, restoration, or painting is a plus​
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and rigging equipment safely
- Solid communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively within a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights when necessary
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing assigned duties
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in the construction industry

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$30.68 per hour
