Overview

- Tri-Com Recycling Inc. is hiring reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team and support recycling operations serving Town of The Pas, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, and the Rural Municipality of Kelsey.

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on-site

- Operate equipment such as balers and forklifts (training provided).

- Support curbside collection, recycling pickup routes, and trailer movements as required. Maintain cleanliness of the recycling facility, yard, vehicles, and surrounding areas.

- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

- Provide respectful and helpful service to residents, businesses, and the public.

- Report equipment issues, hazards, or operational concerns to the Lead Hand or Manager.

- Support site organization, storage management, and workflow efficiency.

- Participate in training and support other team members as required.

- Perform other duties related to recycling operations as assigned.

Experience

- Previous experience in labour, recycling operations, public works, or a similar environment considered an asset.





- Ability to work in a team setting and follow direction from supervisors.

- Strong understanding of workplace safety and safe work practices.

- Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Mechanical aptitude and experience operating equipment (forklift, baler, etc.) considered an asset.

- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License considered an asset.

- Physically able to work in an active industrial environment, including lifting materials in excess of 25 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Satisfactory criminal record check.

Salary and Benefits

- Salary - $20.00 -$22.00 per hour

- Comprehensive benefits package after probation period

Hours of Work

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Occasional weekend work may be required

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
