Overview The Shipping & Receiving General Labourer supports production and logistics operations by assisting with the loading, unloading, movement, staging, and handling of materials. This role also performs general shop duties and supports the safe and efficient movement of materials between the facility and off-site warehouses while maintaining a clean, organized, and productive work setting.

Responsibilities

- Load and unload trucks, including counting, staging, organizing, and safely handling incoming and outgoing materials.
- Transfer and move materials to and from off-site warehouses in coordination with Management.
- Perform general shop duties, including equipment operation support, cleaning, painting, and basic maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
- Accurately clock in and out of assigned jobs and projects daily.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support daily operational requirements and maintain a respectful and productive workplace.

Experience





- 1–2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing operations.
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience, including experience working in an outdoor industrial environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse procedures.
- Physically capable of frequently lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing work that involves standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and other physical activities for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools and metalworking processes are assets.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Valid G driver’s licence and reliable transportation to the Bradford facility.
- Steel-toe safety footwear is mandatory.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
