Hecla Resort located in the beautiful Hecla Provincial Park is a full service, year round resort offering exceptional service, made from scratch foods and a welcoming atmosphere for our Guests. Our passion for hospitality and our commitment to Guest service starts with the people we employ.

We pay a fair hourly wage based on experience, and have staff accommodations close to the resort for only $9 per day, which includes utilities, internet and cable.

Staff housing is only 1.5 km drive from the resort, or a 10 – 15 minute walk taking a short-cut through our golf course. We have a small, close-knit community of about 50 employees that live in housing on the Island. If you like nature and the outdoors, this is a fantastic place to live! Our employees also get discounts on food at Seagull's, golf, and some sessions at our Salka Spa!

We are seeking a reliable, Maintenance Technician with a Mechanical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general mechanical and plumbing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities





- Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety issues
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe during and after tasks
- Assist with general maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of general maintenance on mechanical heating and cooling systems
- General plumbing knowledge
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Positive time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
