Job Summary The General Grocery Clerk is responsible for helping keep the store clean, organized, well-stocked, and ready for customers. This role focuses on merchandising products, stocking shelves, facing displays, maintaining product presentation, and completing cleaning duties during evening. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

· Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays with grocery products.

· Merchandise products according to store standards, promotions, and seasonal displays.

· Face and rotate products to maintain a clean, full, and organized appearance.

· Check product dates and remove expired or damaged items as required.

· Unload, move, and organize inventory safely in the sales floor and backroom areas.

· Complete nightly cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, wiping shelves, cleaning spills, cleaning bathrooms and keeping aisles clear.

· Maintain a safe and tidy work workplace for staff and customers.





· Provide friendly customer service when customers are present.

· Help customers to their vehicles with their groceries

· Collecting shopping carts and baskets as needed.

Qualifications

· Previous grocery, retail, stocking, or cleaning experience is an asset but not required.

· Ability to lift, move, and stock products safely.

· Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during night shifts.

· Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping the store clean and organized.

· Positive attitude and willingness to support the team.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
