Overview

This position is a heavy equipment operator. We would prefer someone with 2-5 years experience in a Surface Mining.

Responsibilities

- Operate loaders, dozers & excavators and other heavy machinery to move materials accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, leveling ground, and managing earth-moving tasks using construction machinery.
- Coordinate with team members to load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during equipment operation to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities,



and operational issues for reporting purposes.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, dozers and excavators.
- Robust mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems related to heavy machinery operation.

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
