Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Crop Supervisor for our 10acre greenhouse facility. In this role, you will lead a team of greenhouse workers to execute daily crop care. Your expertise will directly impact plant and fruit quality, and overall production targets.

Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily activities of greenhouse staff. This will include training the employees on precise mini cucumber tasks such as planting, twisting, de-leafing, pruning, and harvesting crops.
- Manage daily labor hours, track worker productivity, and enforce strict hygiene and food safety protocols (Positive Agricultural Practices / GAP)
- Conduct regular inspections of plants for pests & diseases

Qualifications / Experience: One year of supervisory experience in a commercial greenhouse, specifically working with vine crops (cucumbers, peppers, or tomatoes). Proven ability to manage, motivate, and train a diverse, multicultural workforce. Ability to work in a greenhouse environment and stand/walk for extended periods. Both English and Spanish speaking is an asset.

Wage to be negotiated.

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
