Fairwinds Wellness Centre is searching for more instructors to help deliver our lineup of Yoga classes. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various and or specific yoga disciplines and a commitment to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

As a Yoga Instructor, you will lead engaging classes, provide personalized training, and foster a supportive environment for all ability levels.

Duties

- Conduct group yoga classes including but not limited to Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative.
- Develop and implement personalized training programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide instruction on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to educate clients on the benefits of various exercises.
- Engage with clients to motivate them and enhance their fitness experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.




- Participate in health club events and promotional activities to drive fitness sales.
- Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques through continuous education.

Qualifications

- Certification in Yoga instruction is mandatory.
- Instructors must have their own insurance. (Often provided with Certification)
- Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and program design.
- Experience in teaching various yoga modalities
- Background in sports coaching or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Previous experience in a health club or gym setting is advantageous.

Job Type: Fixed term contract Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
