This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing your caregiving skills in a dynamic setting. This position is part time, two Saturdays and Sundays per month.

Duties

- Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols to maintain residents’ health and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, promoting healthy eating habits
- Engage residents in recreational activities, socialization, and therapeutic programs to enhance their well-being




- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and household chores
- Monitor residents’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Document care provided, incidents, and resident progress accurately in required records

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable but not a must.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Experience working with individuals who have special needs or behavioral challenges is preferred
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties and meal preparation efficiently
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude essential for building trusting relationships with residents and team members

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
