MT BYTES is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead business development in Canada and help build a solid pipeline for the next stage of growth. You will set the approach to business development, support senior opportunities, and help build a commercial team and process that can scale.

Experience in the Canadian business environment is useful, particularly where the role involves regional relationships. In Canada, we want someone who can develop trusted relationships, understand business needs, and create well-qualified opportunities.

This is a senior role with real ownership. You will be expected to shape the approach, make decisions, and help others execute well.

What you will do

• Work with the team on proposals and commercial opportunities

- Keep CRM and opportunity information current
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Research target companies and identify relevant decision-makers
- Run outreach, discovery calls, meetings, and follow-ups





What we are looking for

• Significant leadership experience in the relevant function

- Strong judgement and ability to make decisions with incomplete information
- Experience building teams, setting priorities, and managing performance
- Excellent communication with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in Canadian B2B sales or technology markets is an advantage.
