Duties

- Assist client with multiple sclerosis activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support patients with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment




- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
- Document care provided accurately and communicate any changes in condition to supervising healthcare professionals

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in patient care, senior care, hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and effectively
- Robust caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
