Step into a vital role as a Heavy Equipment Operator for McKay Metis Contracting. This camp position involves operating advanced machinery on a 14 days on, 14 days off schedule. You will report directly to the Superintendent and perform key tasks such as operating 160M graders, loaders, and skid-steers. A comprehensive understanding of road maintenance and construction is required, alongside physical competency for associated labouring duties.

Experience in reading grade stakes and constructing road grades is essential for maximizing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate various heavy equipment on-site
- Construct new road grades with precision
- Understand and interpret grade stakes accurately




- Perform physical labour including blade changing
- Complete all assigned activities by supervisors Requirements:
- Class 5 Driver’s License required; Air Brake Endorsement is an asset
- Skid-steer certificate and First Aid Certification - Level C
- H2S Alive certificate and successfully pass pre-employment testing
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
