Responsibilities

- Greet guests with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating assignments and wait times
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate timely seating and service, maintaining a seamless flow during busy hours
- Answer guest inquiries via phone with skilled phone etiquette, providing information about menu items, reservations, or general questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold a welcoming environment
- Assist with guest needs during their visit, including providing menus, answering questions about food service options, and ensuring overall satisfaction




- Support the team by handling guest feedback professionally and escalating concerns promptly to management
- Open Morning availability

Experience

- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Food service experience or restaurant background is advantageous for understanding service flow and guest expectations
- Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with guests, team members, and handling phone inquiries effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Experience in customer service roles within hotels or restaurants enhances your ability to create memorable guest interactions
- Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures helps ensure smooth coordination during busy periods
- Ability to maintain professionalism with excellent phone etiquette while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Open Table and Smart Serve Required
