POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR & Safety Assistant will gain hands on experience in various HR and Safety functions. This role will be heavy in involvement in HR Administration, supporting the new hire paperwork, updating systems including HRIS, and various safety and compliance networks with accurate data and documents.
CORE DUTIES
- Maintain and update Employee records in the HRIS
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process
- Prepare HR letters and documentation
- Update employee records
- Update employer profiles and safety prequalification documentation
- Support with other office administrative duties
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Received or working towards a degree or diploma in Business or Business Administration, preferably in Human Resources, Environment Health and Safety
- Experience with HRIS administration an asset
