Our client is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their growing People & Engagement team. This is an opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional to take ownership of meaningful initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization.
You'll have the opportunity to work across employee relations, talent management, performance, HR programs, compliance, and employee engagement while helping leaders build strong, high-performing teams.

What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as a key HR partner to managers and leaders, providing practical advice and solutions across a broad range of people-related matters.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and become a go-to resource for HR guidance and support.
- Take ownership of complex employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, performance concerns, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, and terminations.
- Coach managers through challenging employee situations and help ensure issues are handled consistently, fairly, and in accordance with company policies and legislation.
- Interpret HR policies and employment legislation and translate requirements into practical guidance for leaders and employees.
- Apply your knowledge of U.S. employment legislation when advising on employee relations, policies, and workplace practices.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent development, employee retention, and succession planning.
- Support the annual performance management cycle and help leaders identify opportunities for employee development and growth.
- Monitor HR data and workforce trends to identify potential issues and recommend strategies to improve engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage employee leave processes and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up.
- Help introduce and implement organization-wide HR programs and initiatives within the business.
- Lead HR projects focused on improving processes, strengthening the employee experience, and supporting organizational growth.
- Collaborate with the broader People & Engagement team on initiatives and priorities across the organization.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
What We're Looking For
- 6-10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HRBP, HR Manager, or comparable senior-level role.
- Robust, hands-on employee relations experience - including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, progressive discipline, and terminations.
- Previous experience supporting employees and leaders within a technology, SaaS, or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment legislation is required.
- Solid understanding of employment standards, human rights, workplace policies, and HR compliance.
- Experience advising and influencing managers and senior leaders on people-related decisions.
- Experience managing HR programs, initiatives, and projects from planning through implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR data and trends to identify issues and develop actionable solutions.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and advanced Microsoft Office skills. (Rippling experience is an asset)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Robust judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive matters.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
