Aircool Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team in beautiful Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands.

Aircool Ltd. has been operating in the HVAC industry for 21 years and is the authorized Mitsubishi Electric Distributor/Dealer for the Turks & Caicos Islands. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial HVAC installations, service, maintenance, and advanced VRF air-conditioning systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who takes pride in technical excellence, troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and customer service—and who is interested in building a career in one of the Caribbean's most energetic markets.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Servicing Mitsubishi Electric and other HVAC equipment, including VRF systems, ducted systems, split systems, ventilation equipment, pumps, controls, and associated mechanical components.
- Diagnosing electrical, refrigeration, airflow, controls, and mechanical faults using appropriate test equipment, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
- Carrying out refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, leak detection, brazing, and refrigeration piping work in accordance with accepted industry practices.
- Installing and maintaining condensate drainage, pumps, valves, piping, and other HVAC-related plumbing components.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment schedules,



and manufacturers' technical literature.
- Assisting with equipment start-up, commissioning, testing, and system performance verification.
- Supporting new construction and renovation projects by installing HVAC and mechanical systems in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Accurately documenting service calls, maintenance activities, equipment deficiencies, repairs, and materials used.
- Maintaining professional standards when working in occupied residences, luxury properties, commercial buildings, and active construction environments.
- Following company safety procedures and maintaining tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have

- Proven professional experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, controls, airflow, and mechanical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and servicing VRF/VRV systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with Mitsubishi Electric equipment is considered a significant advantage.
- Strong brazing, refrigeration piping, evacuation, charging, and leak-testing skills.
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, fans, condensate systems, ventilation systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Experience working on both residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding, sheet-metal work,



and construction processes is an advantage.
- Ability to independently diagnose complex HVAC faults and determine appropriate corrective action.
- Valuable communication and customer-service skills.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a qualified HVAC team.
- A valid driver's licence.

The ideal candidate is a skilled HVAC professional and strong troubleshooter who understands how refrigeration, electrical, airflow, controls, and mechanical systems work together.

You should be comfortable diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, communicating your findings clearly, and completing repairs to a professional standard.

Experience with VRF technology and sophisticated residential or commercial HVAC systems will be particularly valuable.
