The company is in a strong position for growth, with steady work in the forecast. We are actively seeking to fill the key position of Civil Estimator, with the desire to grow with us long term.

Qualifications

- Over 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Over 1 years’ experience as a civil estimator.
- Strong ability to read and interpret Civil Drawings and project Specifications.
- Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam
- Applicants must have a solid understanding of earthworks and civil work procedures, MMCD and heavy civil construction practices





- Fluent in English
- Valid Drivers License required.
- Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurate preparation of full-cost estimates and complete tender package submissions for new projects.
- Reviews tender documents, specifications, drawings, and attends pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and effort for estimating.
- Prepares take-offs and calculates material quantities as required.
- Establish unit costs, labour rates, productivity factors and location impacts
- Obtain competitive material & equipment prices for all tenders / pursuits, specific to each opportunity
- Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss estimates

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
