Your role will also involve advocacy, planning activities, and conducting case management meetings to ensure clients' needs are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and develop appropriate service plans
- Provide referrals to address critical needs such as shelter and food
- Advocate for clients with various institutions and organizations
- Plan and coordinate settlement activities for newcomer groups
- Produce orientation materials and facilitate outreach sessions Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Human Services/Social Sciences
- Minimum of 2 years experience with newcomers to Canada
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn
- Valid class 5 driver's license and vehicle for client transport
