Your role is essential in addressing the disproportionate impacts of violence on Indigenous communities. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed support to clients
- Support safety planning based on individual readiness
- Facilitate prevention programming and workshops
- Advocate for clients navigating various support systems
- Promote healthy relationships and culturally appropriate healing Requirements:
- Completed some post-secondary education
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of Indigenous perspectives and approaches
- Strong advocacy skills for non-discriminatory practices
