Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Infrastructure Construction Health and Safety Coordinator to champion safety excellence across construction projects. In this vital role, you will oversee health and safety protocols during infrastructure development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of safety awareness. Duties

- Monitor comprehensive health and safety plans tailored to infrastructure construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, enforce safety procedures, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with construction managers, site workers and contractors to promote safety best practices.
- Investigate incidents or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, training activities, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, schedule inspections,



and manage documentation efficiently.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction health and safety roles
- Post secondary certification in safety training specific to Ontario regulations
- Familiarity with construction management software for reporting, and documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations applicable to infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with site teams.
- Ability to identify hazards proactively and implement effective mitigation
