Job Role: Intermediate Business Project Manager (Insurance or Banking exp)

Location : Waterloo, ON/Hybrid

Position Type : Contract Role

Duration: 6 months to a Year

Hybrid: 5 days a month in the Waterloo Office

Ideal Candidate Rate: CAD 55-60/Hr (Depending upon the experience)

Looking for an Intermediate Business Project Manager with strong business project management capabilities and solid technical acumen to lead and coordinate initiatives across business and technology teams.

Experience with platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Applied Systems, Sapiens, or similar insurance technologies would be considered a strong asset.

Must Have:

- 4–7 years of project management or related delivery experience.
- Robust business PM background with technical acumen.
- Experience managing projects involving both business and IT/technology teams.
- Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum or related certification is an asset.

Key Responsibilities





- Manage business and technology projects from planning through implementation.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
- Coordinate across business, technology, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into actionable project plans and technology deliverables.
