- Participate in all stages of project design, primarily in railway engineering for freight and passenger transportation
- Work on projects throughout Quebec and North America
- Develop railway alignment designs, including horizontal geometry and vertical profiles
- Design track structures and railway safety elements
- Conduct drainage analyses
- Develop railway signaling concepts
- Carry out preliminary design studies
- Perform detailed engineering design of infrastructure
- Prepare drawings and specifications
- Estimate construction costs
- Provide technical assistance during construction
- Occasionally manage construction sites
- Coordinate the various disciplines
- Participate in major multidisciplinary projects Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in railway engineering
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoTURN, and InfraWorks is an asset
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle for travel
