LN Land Development Technologies is growing our Edmonton survey team, and we're looking for an experienced Construction Surveyor who is ready to take ownership in the field.

- A team that values experienced people who can get the job done WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll take responsibility for day-to-day field surveying activities, including:
- Construction layout and staking
- Earthworks and grading
- Topographic surveys
- Quantity surveys
- Establishing and maintaining survey control
- Operating GPS/GNSS and robotic total stations
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
- Completing survey calculations and collecting accurate field data
- Identifying field discrepancies before they become construction issues
- Coordinating with project managers, supervisors, clients, and field crews
- Supporting and mentoring Survey Assistants when required WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're less concerned about checking every box and more interested in finding someone with strong, hands-on field experience who can confidently run survey work. You'll be a strong fit if you have:
- Previous experience as a Construction Surveyor, Field Surveyor, or similar
- Strong construction layout and field surveying experience
- Experience with civil construction, earthworks, or industrial projects
- Confidence operating GPS/GNSS and robotic total stations
- Ability to read construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- A solid understanding of survey control, calculations, and tolerances
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Trimble experience is a definite asset.
- Experience with Civil 3D, industrial projects, oil and gas, mining, heavy civil, or mentoring junior survey staff is also considered an asset. This is a hands-on field position working outdoors in active construction environments. Some travel to project sites may be required.
