Service Technician Trainee is a student placement role supporting Tesla’s vehicle service operations.
- This intern position is based in Nepean.
- The role introduces students to electric vehicle repair procedures and service center activities.
- The position contributes to workshop support functions and vehicle readiness processes.

Responsibilities - Use workshop equipment and a range of manual and powered tools.
- Review and complete inspection and certification activities.
- Conduct pre delivery checks on newly arrived vehicles.
- Track workshop inventory, supplies, parts usage and labour records.
- Assist with vehicle appearance preparation.
- Provide support for parts department activities when required.
- Help with customer reception area duties as assigned.
Requirements - Knowledge of vehicle servicing practices and repair techniques is required.
- Enrollment in an automotive related program is preferred.
- A valid driver’s licence is required.
- Must be available to attend assigned training sites or service locations.
- Can lift loads of up to 60 pounds.
- Can contribute effectively within a group work environment.
- Basic English language knowledge is required.
- Working knowledge of MS Suite is required.
