Job Summary

Stonewaters is looking for an organized, reliable, and hands-on Inventory Assistant to join our team in Canmore.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, keeping things organized, and making sure products move smoothly from delivery to the sales floor.

Working closely with our Receiving Manager and the rest of the Stonewaters team, you’ll help receive new merchandise, prepare products for the store, maintain an organized stockroom, and support inventory accuracy.

What You’ll Do

● Receive, count, and verify incoming shipments.

● Tag and prepare new merchandise for the sales floor.

● Unpack, organize, and put away incoming inventory.

● Keep our stockroom and back-of-house areas clean, organized, and easy to navigate.

● Complete regular inventory counts and stock checks.

● Help identify and report inventory discrepancies.

● Assist with unloading, moving, and organizing deliveries.

● Help move newly received products efficiently from Receiving to the sales floor.

● Work with our Visual Merchandising and Storefront teams to locate and prepare products.

● Support product replenishment and seasonal store resets when needed.

● Help keep receiving areas and inventory systems organized and effective.

● Reliable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team

● Efficient and able to prioritize during busy periods.

● Comfortable with hands-on, physical work, including moving and organizing merchandise.

● A strong communicator and team player.

● Proactive and willing to jump in wherever support is needed.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Previous retail, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience is an asset, but we also value a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Schedule: Full-time. Monday to Friday.

Compensation: $20/hour + Bonus package
