Job Summary

Warnaar Steel Tech is looking to hire an ironworker as soon as possible. Mostly local work with some travel that may be required.

Responsibilities

- Erect and install structural and miscellaneous steel components.
- Read and interpret detailed construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute exact installations
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, welding, grinding, and securing steel components
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations and when working at heights

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on structural steel installation or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and construction techniques
- Must have all relevant fall arrest and welding certificates.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including manlifts and forklifts, certifications are an asset
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites is essential

Wage to be determined based on experience. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
