We are currently seeking an
IT Director for our Wipro Hydraulics North America division. We are looking for a strategic, engaging, and solution‐oriented leader capable of managing multisite environments, stabilizing critical systems, and driving the evolution of technological operations with efficiency and vision.
The IT Director will lead all IT teams and initiatives for Wipro Hydraulics locations across North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico). This position reports directly to the Global IT Head for Wipro Hydraulics and acts as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, ensuring that operations, projects, and IT support are aligned with organizational goals and business needs.
The role includes managing both dedicated and shared IT resources, overseeing service providers, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize technology adoption and support.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all IT initiatives for the Hydraulics divisions across North America, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico
Strategically engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into IT solutions
Manage and develop IT teams and resources to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business goals
Oversee outsourced service providers, ensuring service quality and compliance with contracts
Lead IT operations, including account creation, hardware setup, software support, and technical troubleshooting
Champion technology adoption, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with global IT teams, including MS Exchange support in India, to ensure seamless integration and communication
Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability
Monitor and manage IT budgets, sourcing, and procurement for all locations
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Own regional cybersecurity resilience, including incident response and remediation, supported by Enterprise IT
Ensure reliable plant IT infrastructure, shop floor systems, and connectivity, coordinating closely with Enterprise IT Team.
Qualifications
Availability to travel across our different North American sites (United States, Canada, and Mexico). The frequency of travel can be discussed based on operational needs
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Over 15 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience managing multi-location IT operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity issues
Proven ability to manage outsourced service providers and internal IT teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a matrixed, global organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with ERP solutions such as S/4HANA,
SAPECC, Epicor, etc. (an asset)
Functional proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to collaborate effectively with anglophone teams

Location & Travel : Based in North America, with travel required to Hydraulics sites in the US, Canada, and Mexico as needed.
