Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless communication between systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Build scalable microservices architectures utilizing tools like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Docker within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance across platforms including Linux and Windows servers.
- Participate actively in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain version control using GitHub or SVN,



document code changes accurately, and support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Hands-on knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, XML, JSON, AJAX, and XSLT.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ASP.NET Core for backend services and MVC architecture for web applications.
- Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, or Oracle; including database design and T-SQL scripting.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum), version control systems (Git), and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs for web services integration; experience with WCF is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively on multithreaded applications using Java concurrency features; familiarity with Linux scripting is advantageous.
- Experience with application development tools such as Eclipse or Visual Studio; familiarity with TFS or Jenkins for build automation.
