Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various industrial, commercial, and manufacturing settings. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing and piping infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install piping systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes using hand tools and power tools such as calipers, pipe wrenches, and pipe cutters.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal pipes securely and ensure leak-proof connections.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piping systems to prevent failures and extend system lifespan.
- Utilize rigging techniques to lift and position heavy pipes or equipment safely during installation or removal.
- Apply basic math skills for accurate measurements, calculations for pipe layouts, and material estimations.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects or manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Read schematics and technical manuals related to HVAC systems, plumbing configurations,
or mechanical systems to support installation or troubleshooting efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman Pipefitter with a strong background in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Valid journeyman/woman certification or equivalent qualification in pipefitting or plumbing trades.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding techniques for metal piping applications.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing codes, schematics, and industrial piping standards.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as calipers, pipe wrenches, cutters, and measuring devices.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with rigging procedures for lifting heavy pipes or equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations required during installation or repairs.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding, rigging, manufacturing processes, and construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
