KPLEX is a Toronto-based real estate development company focused on multiplex residential development, leveraging the EHON policy framework and CMHC financing programs. We operate in one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic segments of Toronto's housing market.

Our current pipeline includes more than 20 active development projects, representing approximately $60 million in construction value and $150 million in completed assets under management.

Our mission is to build a scalable, high-quality development platform for multiplex housing across Toronto. We are assembling a lean, high-performance team and are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function and help build the financial infrastructure that supports our growth.

Position Overview The Junior Accountant will support the accounting and financial operations of KPLEX's growing portfolio of real estate development projects, rental properties, and corporate entities.

You will work closely with senior management and gain exposure to full-cycle accounting, project accounting, development costs, HST, corporate tax, financing, and financial reporting.

We are looking for someone with approximately 2–3 years of accounting experience after completing their undergraduate degree who has a strong foundation in accounting and is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities





- Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for multiple real estate development projects, rental properties, and corporate entities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other accounting adjustments
- Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
- Other works the management team assigned.

Qualifications

- CPA, CA or CPA or actively enrolled in the CPA program is considered a strong asset

· Post-secondary education with a specialty in Accounting or Business Administration
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role and/or accounting and tax experience in a corporate environment is considered a strong asset
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Eager to learn and take on increasing responsibility

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
