Kitasoo Xai’Xais Nation is looking for a junior to intermediate accountant, to add to the existing accounting team. Any prior experience within First Nations is an asset.

The ideal candidate needs to be willing to either relocate to remote First Nations northern community or work on-site three weeks in and two week offsite. Accommodations and travel expenses will be paid by Kitasoo Xai’Xais Nation.

Qualifications:

- Completion of either a certificate or degree in accounting. A CPA designation is not required but a definite asset.
- Three years full cycle bookkeeping experience.
- Familiar with Sage 300 and other accounting software.
- Good personality and people skills are important.

Job Type: Full time Pay: From $65,000.00 -$75,000 depends on education background, experiences and capacity
