Educational Assistant - 15 hours weekly

Location: Gateway Christian School

Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found until June 30, 2027

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence.

Gateway Christian School is a Kindergarten to grade 12 Christian Alternative Program in Red Deer Public Schools. The successful candidate will be supporting young learners in Kindergarten classrooms, Monday and Wednesday full days and Fridays half days each week.

Desirable Qualifications And Attributes

- Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education is an asset.
- Ability to work with students who have special education needs and behaviour challenges.
- Candidate would ideally have experience working with Autism and complex needs
- Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Toileting and lifting may be required
