CLS Landscape Supply is growing, and we're looking for hardworking, motivated Landscape Construction Technicians to join our team.

This is a LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION position — NOT MAINTENANCE.

Our crews work on a wide variety of residential and commercial landscape construction projects throughout Calgary and the surrounding area. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable construction skills while working alongside an experienced, hardworking team.

YEAR-ROUND WORK, NOT JUST A SUMMER JOB

One of the biggest advantages of working with CLS is that our work doesn't stop when the landscaping season ends.

During the warmer months, you'll be part of our Landscape Construction team, working on patios, retaining walls, paving stones, grading, drainage, planting, sod, and other outdoor construction projects.

When winter arrives, our crews transition into Snow Removal.

That means you can stay with the same company, continue working with the same team, and keep earning throughout the winter instead of being laid off when the construction season ends.

We offer a true year-round position by transitioning from Landscape Construction in the spring, summer, and fall into Snow Removal during the winter months.

Our crews travel to different job sites throughout Calgary and the surrounding areas, so you must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

What You'll Be Doing — Landscape Construction

During the construction season, you'll be involved in the hands-on building and installation of outdoor spaces.

Your responsibilities may include

- Installing patios, walkways, steps, retaining walls, and paving stones
- Assisting with excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation
- Installing and preparing bases for hardscape projects
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Installing sod
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Measuring, leveling, cutting, and preparing materials
- Assisting with residential and commercial landscape construction projects
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Following proper construction methods and safety procedures
- Working as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Taking direction from Crew Leads, Foremen, and Project Managers
- Learning new construction techniques and developing your skills on the job

What You'll Be Doing — Snow Removal When the landscape construction season winds down, our team transitions into winter snow removal operations.

Depending on your role and experience, winter responsibilities may include:

- Commercial snow removal
- Operating snow removal equipment
- Snow clearing and shoveling
- Ice control and salting
- Loading and moving snow
