The Landscape

Technician 2 will contribute to maintaining the hard and soft outdoor surfaces for UBC's Athletics and Recreation department.

Key responsibilities include sports field maintenance, landscape design, and ensuring proper plant health. This position requires a background in turf management and at least five years of related experience. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine horticultural maintenance and specialized groundskeeping tasks
- Supervise work assigned to labourers and apprentices
- Evaluate and report on landscape conditions and plant health
- Operate equipment for landscaping and maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of pesticide and fertilizer applications Requirements:
- Valid BC trade certification in Landscape Technology
- BC Pesticide Applicator Certificate
- Class 5 Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
