AirCare Systems BC is a NADCA-certified duct cleaning company based in Burnaby. We have been operating since 2012 and clean residential and commercial HVAC systems across Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky corridor. On the residential side that means homes and condos. On the commercial side it means office buildings, healthcare, industrial sites and post-construction cleans. We are WorkSafeBC certified and carry $5M liability coverage.
We are hiring a lead technician who can run jobs on their own and set the standard for the rest of the crew.
What you'll do
- Run residential and commercial duct cleaning jobs on-site from setup to final walkthrough
- Operate HEPA negative-air equipment, compressed-air whips and rotary brushes
- Clean furnaces, AC coils, HRV/ERV units, heat pumps, dryer vents and bathroom exhaust fans
- Lead and train junior techs on the job
- Drive the company vehicle to job sites across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley
- Take before-and-after photos and complete the job report for every job
- Walk customers through the work and answer their questions
- Keep the vehicle and equipment clean, stocked and maintained
- Follow WorkSafeBC and NADCA ACR 2025 practices on every site
What you need
- Hands-on duct cleaning experience, residential or commercial
- Valid BC driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Comfortable with physical work: heavy equipment, ladders, crawl spaces, attics and rooftops
- Reliable, on time and presentable in customers' homes
- Able to pass a background check
- Legally able to work in Canada
Nice to have
- NADCA ASCS certification
- Confined space, lockout/tag-out, fall protection, forklift or rope access tickets
- HVAC or mechanical background
- Experience on commercial systems (rooftop units, air handlers, make-up air)
Pay and hours
- $30 per hour
- Hours follow the booking calendar, not a fixed shift. Full time techs have averaged 30 to 40 hours a week this summer, with busier weeks over 45.
- Most work is daytime. Some commercial jobs run evenings, overnight or on weekends.
