Qualifications and Skills
- One to two years plumbing apprentice in residential services
- Install standard plumbing fixtures like faucets, toilet, sinks etc.
- Fix/repair leaks in the house
- Drainage snaking and cleaning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly motivated individual with the ability take initiative independently
- Eager to learn all aspects of the trade through on the job experience
- Valid G Driver’s license with clean abstract
- Service or installation of various piping systems: Copper, PEX,
ABS, System 15, XFR, Black pipe
- Service or installation of sump pumps
- Service or installation of varied plumbing mechanical systems
- Service or installation of water softener systems is an asset
- Service or installation of shut off valves and mixing valves
- Ability to help journeyman perform rough-in works
- Ability to diagnose and repair leaks
Job Types: Full time, Apprenticeship Pay: $30.00 per hour
