Duties
- Complete pre procedure calls for patients scheduled for endovenous procedures
- Complete post procedure and follow up calls for patients as needed
- Prepare chart packs for procedures
- Assist physician and/or RN during sclerotherapy and injectable treatments
- Perform consultations for patients, providing health education regarding treatment options available
- Consult with physician and/or RN to determine appropriate care plans
Qualifications
- Valid BC license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting preferred
- Interest in aesthetic medicine an asset
- Enjoyment working in a team based setting
- Willingness to learn
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and team members
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude
