Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and Recovery Alberta policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta.

Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications: As required.
Preferred Qualifications: Recent medical-surgical nursing experience. Experience with nursing triage, patient assessment, and clinical prioritization. Knowledge and experience in wound care assessment and treatment. Experience working with complex and diverse patient populations. Correctional health, emergency, urgent care, addictions, or mental health experience is considered an asset.
