Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Life Licensed Broker at Greatway Financial Inc.

The Life Licensed

Broker will meet with prospective and existing clients (virtually and/or in person as needed), conduct thorough needs analyses, and recommend appropriate life and related insurance solutions that support long-term financial security.

Responsibilities include presenting and explaining insurance products, preparing and submitting applications, following up on underwriting requirements, and maintaining accurate client records. The broker will build and manage a personal book of business, provide ongoing policy reviews, and offer service and guidance as clients’ needs change over time.



The role also involves participating in training sessions, staying up to date on carrier products and industry trends, and collaborating with Greatway’s support teams and leadership to ensure a professional and compliant client experience.

Qualifications

- Licensed (or eligible for licensing) as a Life Insurance Agent in the applicable Canadian province; completion of required regulatory exams or willingness to complete them.
- Foundational knowledge of life insurance, living benefits (illness and disability), mortgage protection, and business insurance solutions, with the ability to explain concepts in transparent, accessible language.
- Strong client relationship-building skills, including active listening, empathy, and a consultative, education-focused approach to needs-based selling.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal, including comfort with virtual meetings and digital communication tools.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with strong time-management, organization, and follow-up skills to manage a growing client portfolio in a remote environment.
- Basic proficiency with technology tools, such as CRM systems, online meeting platforms, and digital application processes.
- Integrity, professionalism, and adherence to regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards in all client interactions.
- Prior experience in financial services, insurance, sales, or customer service is an asset, but candidates from diverse professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
