Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate the Micros POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for order entry, payment processing, and transaction accuracy.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing friendly customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to fulfill orders promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.




- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.

Requirements

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work effectively in a kitchen environment.
