North Wharf by Sage Fish is getting ready to open its doors in Hintonburg, and we’re looking for experienced Line Cooks who want to help us build something from the ground up.

North Wharf is a new seafood takeout concept from the team behind Sage Fish Market. We’re all about great seafood, simple ingredients, big flavours and good people.

We’re building a kitchen culture that works hard, has fun and takes pride in the food we put across the counter.

A passion for food is a must. A love of the outdoors, fishing and adventure is pretty much required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Prepare and cook North Wharf menu items consistently and with care
- Work fry, grill, prep and other kitchen stations
- Prep fresh seafood, vegetables, sauces and other ingredients
- Keep your station clean, organized and ready for service
- Follow recipes, portioning and presentation standards
- Maintain proper food handling, sanitation and food safety standards
- Work closely with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house team
- Jump in wherever needed — we’re a small team and everyone contributes

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- 2–3 years of previous line cook or professional kitchen experience required
- Valid Food Handler Certification required
- A genuine passion for food and quality ingredients
- Strong understanding of kitchen organization, cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, positive and ready to be part of a team




- Comfortable taking direction while also working independently
- Availability for a mix of weekday, evening and weekend shifts
- Seafood preparation experience is an asset

Experience matters, but so does attitude. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, want to keep learning and are excited about helping build a new restaurant and kitchen culture.
