Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary bridge between the Warehouse and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain constant communication between dispatchers, warehouse staff, drivers, and management.
- Coordinate upcoming pickups and deliveries with the warehouse team and ensure shipments are ready on time.
- Communicate dispatch instructions and shipment priorities to the warehouse team.
- Confirm with the warehouse that freight has been received, located, loaded, unloaded, and prepared as required.
- Keep Dispatch updated on warehouse status, shipment readiness, delays, damages, shortages, or other issues.
- Coordinate loading and unloading schedules to minimize driver wait times and operational delays.
- Ensure drivers receive accurate information regarding pickup locations,



dock availability, shipment status, and loading instructions.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Identify operational issues between Warehouse and Dispatch and work with both teams to resolve them quickly.
- Ensure proper communication when shipments are delayed, missing, damaged, short, over, or otherwise require attention.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding LTL shipments, cross-dock freight, transfers, and scheduled pickups/deliveries.
- Verify that required paperwork, shipment information, seals, and other documentation are properly completed.
- Track driver arrivals and departures and communicate significant delays to Dispatch and management.
- Help prioritize warehouse work based on scheduled pickups, delivery deadlines, and dispatch requirements.
- Ensure information provided by Dispatch is accurately communicated to the Warehouse and vice versa.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment movements, warehouse activities, delays, and exceptions.
- Follow up on outstanding shipments and ensure issues are not left unresolved.
- Assist management in identifying recurring operational problems and recommend improvements.
- Ensure effective communication between departments during busy periods and after-hours operations when required.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
