Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for all employees and customers. This role requires keen observation skills, a strong understanding of security protocols, and the ability to respond promptly to security incidents. Prior law enforcement experience or background in surveillance is highly desirable.

The Loss Prevention

Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our operations.

Responsibilities

- Monitor store premises using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or theft attempts
- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies during investigations of theft or misconduct
- Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for internal use or legal proceedings
- Enforce company policies related to loss prevention, safety, and security procedures
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies to mitigate risks and ensure safety




- Assist in training staff on loss prevention techniques and security protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information and activities

Skills

- Proven experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention roles preferred
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying suspicious behavior
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Valuable communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies, security systems, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies
